The Level 1 Sports Trainer course involves a mixture of eLearning, theory, and practical components including first aid, taping, concussion management and much more.
All candidates who complete the course will also receive the Nationally Recognised Provide First Aid (HLTAID003) Certificate. If you have previously completed a Provide First Aid certificate, you can apply for recognition of prior learning.

Pre-requisites
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must complete all eLearning before attending face to face training

Course Content
This course is delivered through both online eLearning and face to face training.
Face to face training is delivered over 12 hours

Safety in Rugby League
Basic Musculoskeletal Anatomy
Preventing Sports Injuries
Nutrition and Hydration
Drugs in Sports
Management of the Injured Athlete
Common Medical Conditions

Sports Taping (Ankle, Thumb and Finger)
Transporting the Injured Athlete
Common Sporting Illness and Injuries
